Blandys er uh Grammys

So we watched the Grammy Awards last night while simultaneously watching American Idol. Funny how the talent on both was equitable.

Anyway, is it me or do most artists suck at singing other artists song?

I loved U2's rip through "Vertigo" to transition to "One".. Seriously, i was stoked to hear Bono signing this song in a more free form style..I had the goosies a couple lines in..until..until Mary J. Blige showed up.

She sucked. I'm sure she's awesome at signing her own songs, but this was TERRIBLE.. Am I the only one that thought so.

I won't even comment on Coldplay. Ok, I will.. they sucked too. Chris Martin should concentrate more on singing and less on playing Peter Pan. I care more about how awesome your awesome vocal lines are than your travels through the audience.

5 minute Phlegm

sputum - mucus coughed up from the lungs. Otherwise known as phlegm.

A strange post you say?? Well, i'm currently in SF on business and was in the bathroom at the Moscone Center doing my "business" when in walked Phlegm Sputum. He entered the stall two down from where i was throned. He never sat down. Just stood there. I know cause I peeked under the divider.. How intrusive, but I know you've done it too.. Anyway, Phlegm began to hack, suck, wheez and snort until the prize was dislodged from his lungs then spit from 4 feet up into the bowl. Over and over. I thought it would never end. You know how disgusting that is if you visualize?? The worst is the splash in the bowl.



Is there no serenety in the "office"? No rest in the "rest room"?
